Riyo shot in <st1:State w:st=”on”><st1:place w:st=”on”>New York</st1:place></st1:State> with a French Photographer for high fashion magazine, Numero. <o:p></o:p>

First Riyo was made-up by Gwen Stefani’s fabulous make-up artist. Riyo loved the make-up, she was so happy. Then they “test-shot” and the photographer decided to remove all Riyo’s make-up and to shoot with zero make-up.<o:p></o:p>

During the shoot Riyo and the photographer got in a real argument because he was screaming at her and then she transformed into this raged young woman in front the lenses. This is what I love to see in these pictures, this rebellion in Riyo’s eyes.<o:p></o:p>

There is always a story behind the pictures. This is why I decided to share this one with you. <o:p></o:p>

It was a great experience for Riyo to do this shoot and she loves the result. I am happy to see a Miss Universe without make-up, it is SO refreshing!<o:p></o:p>
