Finalists are checking the latest European collections in Vogue that I just bought.

It is not how you walk that matters, but how you move and the message that your eyes convey to people watching you.

私が教えているのは、自分の強さ、パーソナリティ、個性、セクシーさ、女性らしさ、そして知性のすべてを感じさせるメッセージの伝え方よ。尊敬を示すためにアイコンタクトを制限し、でしゃばらない慎重さが大切にされる日本では簡単ではないのはわかっているわ。ファイナリストには、鏡の中の自分の顔を見て、自分自身を誘惑するような気持ちになってほしいの。きっとうまくいくから、私を信じて恥ずかしがらずにやってみて！
I am teaching how to deliver a message that is full of intensity, personality, individuality, sensuality, femininity and……. intelligence. Not an easy task in Japan when you are expected to be humble and discreet, with a limiting eye contact in order to show respect. I tell them to look straight in the mirror, their face and to try to seduce themselves. Trust me it works, don’t be shy and try it!

You might wonder who is the pretty girl standing on the left? She is a reader model from VOCE, top fashion & cosmetic magazine. She is learning with the finalists and will be featured inside the story that VOCE is building for its readers. Also check-it out when it publishes. She is very pretty, but look closely, she is standing with the worse pose ever…

今週の、MUJビューティ・キャンプの様子は、写真を見てね。3月9日の最終選考会のためのリハーサルが始まり、ファイナリストたちはショーの振り付けを覚え始めているわ。ザ・プリンスさくらタワー東京で2週間共同生活をしている彼女たちは、必ず朝か夜にホテルのジムに行っているのよ。
What happened this week during the Boot Camp? See the pictures and check it out! We started the rehearsals for the final on March 9th and the finalists have now moved to learn the choreography for the show. They also start the day or end it at the gym inside the Prince Sakura Tower Hotel, where they are all living together for 2 weeks.

食事の材料は、毎日とっても新鮮なものを幅広く届けてもらっているわ。ほとんどはDOLEが提供してくれているの。でもみんなが同じ食事をするのではなく、ファイナリストたちは自分にとって良い食事を決めて、自分たちで調理しているわ。私にとっても凄く意味があることよ！今年は、トレーニングや大会の内容については、今まででベストといえるわ。たくさんのことを学んでいるし、人生が変わる経験となっているはず。
Ingredients for preparing their own meals are delivered each day, fresh and diverse, the biggest part of it from DOLE. They have to prepare they own food to be able to eat exactly what is good for themselves and not one food for all. It makes a great sense to me! This year is definitely the best ever in term of training and competition contents. They will have all learnt a great deal of information and their life will never be the same, that’s for sure.

ファイナリストたちの進歩も目覚ましいし、それぞれの個性を発揮しているわ。本当に嬉しい！今年のトップ5には最強のメンバーが揃うはず。ファイナリストの誰でもミスユニバースで活躍できると信じているし、勝った後、日本国内で若い女性たちのリーダー的存在になってくれると確信しているわ。
Also, the finalists are really developing and starting to be very striking and each with their own individual personality. I am VERY happy! And I expect a top 5 that is iron-strong this year. I trust that any of them can do good at Miss Universe and most importantly, within the year after they win, in Japan, as a great role-model for other young women looking for advise in their life.
