French Je me suis toujours sentie émotionnellement plus attachée au Cambodge qu’au Vietnam pour certaines raisons. Je souhaite le Cambodge puisse rester pur khmer et non pas devenir un Disney Land fabriqué de toutes pièces par des étrangers.
Nos valeurs sont polluées, nous leur faisons un cadeau empoisonné en leur enseignant notre façon de vivre. Je préfère vivre avec rien du tout et voir mes enfants rire en jouant dans la nature.
Le Cambodge appartient aux Khmers, nous pouvons essayer de les aider, mais nous devrions éviter de leur dire ce qu’ils doivent faire, parce qu’ils savent ce qu’ils ont a faire.

My parents
I always felt more emotionally attached to Cambodia than I did to Vietnam for some reasons. I wish it could remain pure Khmer and not a Disney Land made up by foreigners.
Our value are polluted it is a poisoned gift to teach them how we live our lives. I rather live with nothing at all and have my children laughing while playing in nature.
Cambodia belong to the Khmer, we can try to help them,but we should stay away from telling them what to do, because they now better.

Une amie a monte un concept majestueux afin d’aider …des familles défavorisées. Elle est Khmer, elle s’appelle Pheach et elle a crée Golden Silk pour faire travailler des femmes. Elle est aussi appellée Maman par les orphelins qu’elle a dans le temps recueillis des camps de réfugiés qu’elle fait encore vivre des années plus tard. C’est une femme forte, intelligente, spirituelle et elle aime son peuple. Respects!

The natural dying process of the silk from fruit extracts to leaves or animal excrements, amazing! The entire process is 100% natural.
Pheach and her husband Patrick. She is Khmer and he is French, they met during Cambodia’s brutal Khmer Rouge regime.
The Khmer Rouge was the ruling party in Cambodia from 1975 to 1979, but during this short time it was responsible for one of the worst mass killings of the 20th Century.
The brutal regime claimed the lives of more than a million people – and some estimates say up to 2.5 million perished.
Under the Marxist leader Pol Pot, the Khmer Rouge tried to take Cambodia back to the Middle Ages, forcing millions of people from the cities to work on communal farms in the countryside.
But this dramatic attempt at social engineering had a terrible cost, and whole families died from execution, starvation, disease and overwork.

You must visit the factory, it is a must see. It is a pure experience of Cambodia.
The prices ranged from $50 for a basic scarf, to $1,200 for an elegant wrap.
I fell in love with a yellow scarf that I bought for my husband and bought a few items for my family.
The higehst price goes as much as $15,000 for an elaborate large wrap, which is a museum piece for connaisseurs!

Before she was Gaga: The unseen photos
(CNN) — We’ve come to know her as Lady Gaga, but before the world tours, “The Fame” or even the dress made of meat, photographer Malgorzata Saniewska knew her simply as her restaurant co-worker, Stefani Germanotta.
In the summer of 2005, Saniewska, who goes by Maggie, happened to be tending bar at the same West Village restaurant where the 19-year-old soon-to-be star worked as a waitress.
Just 24 at the time, Saniewska had moved from her native Poland to the United States two years prior with dreams of becoming a photographer.
But to support herself, “I started working as a bartender,” she recalled. “It was definitely a money thing. I did want to go to school, but I didn’t do research on photography, my focus was to make better money.”
IN HONG KONG WITH MY PARENTS

I took my parents to Hong Kong for 3 days to show them this incredible city. We lived in Hong Kong from 1994 to 1997 with my husband. I was then Director of IMG Models for Asia-Pacific. They were blown away by the energy of the city. Truly Hong Kong is a must see / experience for anyone alive!

The W Hoetl… my favorite chain of hotels. Staying at any W hotels in the world is a smart move. Hong Kong W is my favorite.
We had diner at the Ritz Carlton on the 103th floor with Ricco and Virginia De Blank who invited us in honor of my parents, sweet!
