NEW YEARS RESOLUTION: KICKING MY BUTT!

Two years ago I took my best New Year’s resolution ever: I stopped smoking for good!
I have not touched one cigarette since then. Amen!
Now, to be truly happy I needed to get a big challenge…. and I found it!
This year, after all the good diners and parties during the holidays, I decided to push my limits and to kick my butt back into great shape. I immediately registered at the gym next to my home. California Gym (Jackie Chan gym)
I am officially back on track big time, with a 2 to 3 hours a day exercise routine.
Today I did 3 hours straight in a group session, with 3 different instructors.
I am a fan of mixed-exercises method because it offers a different approach to working out that keeps me interested.
I chose a combination of Pilates, Yoga, extreme Abs-Butt-Tights exercises, Body Combat, Body Balance and swimming.
This way I get the cardio-rush you get from running or spinning, the muscle alignment and core strength you get from Pilates, the coordination and muscle alignment you see from dance, and the flexibility and range of motion you achieve from Yoga.”
The result? That enviable, toned, hard-to-achieve, longer-and-leaner looking body type associated with certain yoga-obsessed starlets and prima-ballerinas—or so I hope, anyway.
For the next six weeks I will attend at least 10 classes per week at the gym. In addition to my hard-core exercise schedule, I will eat much less and even better. Gambarimasu!
I started this morning!
In six weeks I hope to look, and feel, like a new person—lighter and rid of winter lethargy. Stay tuned…
