While in Seoul to work with GUESS, I had the chance to spend time with Jiseon Lee (Miss Korea 2008).
We went shopping together and diner.
I feel like her “second Mom”.
I do with most of my sweetest girls, from my years at Miss Universe.
I met some incredible young women during my 13 years as the Director of Miss Universe in Japan.
I am so proud when they develop into mature and successful career women. Jiseon is definitely one of them.
Jiseon came to train with me in Japan, she moved from Korea for 2 months, and ON-STYLE (Korea number one beauty & fashion TV network) did a documentary about her training with me, which was called THE CROWN, it was a hit in Korea.
After competing at Miss Universe in Vietnam, she moved to New York and graduated from PARSON School of Design.
Back in Seoul after 3 years, she created her own collection called J’ apostrophe
I will have a capsule of her collection in my shop when its open in September.
Thank you Sun for being who you are, a sweet girl with a strong will and a big heart that you shared with me this time again.
