Today I visited the home of designer Yves St Laurent in Marrakesh, called “Jardin Majorelle”

The Majorelle garden is located in the center of Marrakesh, and it was created during the 1920s by French painter Jacques Majorelle, the son of Louis, the famous cabinetmaker.
There he planted the rarest species around a small Art Deco building that served as his studio until his death in 1962. Abandoned after the death of its owner, the garden owes its salvation to its new owners: French designer Yves Saint Laurent and his life-partner Pierre Bergé.

Now renovated, the garden hosts many tourists, couples, strollers, who like to escape the noise of the city to find a quiet moment in one of the most beautiful parks of Morocco.
We also had lunch in the garden, with my husband and the vegetarian dish (tagine) we ordered was delicious.
This was the ultimate experience for me. I love Berber arts and culture, A must see and enjoy. Spectacular museum, exhibition.
A MUST SEE ALL TOGETHER!
