In the SLUMS. Visiting the families of my children. Paying my respect to their Mothers.
Visiting the families of my children.
Paying my respect to their Mothers.
Together with Phuong Mean’s Mother and sister.
At the end of my visit, we decided that Phuong Mean’s brother called Phuong Tong will come to live with us at the foyer (home).
(Phuong Tong seated next to Claire, she came from France for 4 months to do an intership. She lives inside the hone with everyone).
I promised his Mother that I will take care of him.
She has 4 children: 3 sons and one daughter.
Her 3 sons are mentally challenged, due to the toxic waste where the grew up.
Autism is seen in boys most of the time.
More than in girls. Actually her daughter is fine…. women capacity to detoxify is higher that in men.
These girls and boys are neighbors.
The girls’s cousin is actually living with us.
The Mother of the 2 girls on the picture tells me that her daughter in pink, is also mentally slow and that I should take her with me.
Actually I denied because I saw nothing “different” about her. Only that she is so damm gorgeous, OMG!
The cutie of the family!
Chamri takes care of our children at home, she takes them to work, picks them up at night and she cook for them.
She is the “maitresse de masion” and she has such an amazing devotion for them all.
She also comes from the slums also she knows well….
It is above 40 degrees and bloody hot!
This water-well was donated by Korean people.
Kamsamnida!
This is where the entire family showers and drink.
But the water smells like lead, also it cannot be so good for their health…. but at least they can drink…
Her husband left her when she gave birth of her daughter, also she now lives with her Mother.
My cutie is so happy to look pretty.
Even small girls like to play dress-up, that is for sure!
ahh!! Look at our faces! She is extra cute
Saying goodbye… I always visit them when I am in Phonm Penh.
