Cindy Crawford in an interview lately said:
“I just saw the CoverGirl commercial with Taylor Swift and I thought, ‘Wow, it is so hard for models to get a job these days’. You have to sing and act, too. There doesn’t seem to be as much work specifically just for models. And I also think when I was modeling, size 6 was a normal size and now it’s like 2 or 0″.
Hum, this is so true!
I guess the models that get the big campaign these days are Gisele and Kate Moss that’s all.

「さっきテイラー・スイフトが出演しているカバーガールのコマーシャルを見た時に、最近のモデルは仕事を取りづらくなっていると思いました。歌も演技もできなくてはなりません。ただのモデルとしての仕事はなくなりつつありますね。また、私がモデルだった時はサイズ6が平均的なサイズだと思っていましたが、今では2か0です」

最近大きな仕事がもらえるモデルはジゼル・ブンチェンかケイト・モスくらいな気がします。
