IF I COULD MAKE A WISH…. IT WOULD BE THAT EVERY YOUNG PERSON GETS A JOB AFTER SCHOOL

Hi Ines,

This is scary that skilled people cant find jobs, my Spanish friends all suffer this problem. Just like in Plaza Cataluynia where people are camping outside. I hope the situation gets better!!

Kodinza,

I remember this Japanese man in his forties, he was a guard during the day, in the building called Address in Daikanyama where I used to live.
He could speak English perfectly and my husband told me that his Japanese was very elegant.

One day, a few months later after having moved in, I was going to buy some food in the neighborhood, when I saw him leaving the building around 6 pm and wearing a suit & tie, holding a briefcase. He looked like a typical company executive.

I could not pretend that everything was normal and asked him the next morning why…. He told me that he lost his job, because several people had been dismissed when the company decided to reduce their employee number. He said he could not tell his wife and for the honor of his family he rather pretended he was still holding an executive job. Also he could not come back home wearing a guard uniform.

Sad reality of Japan employment but also for the rest of the world. because actually in Japan there is still opportunity to work even if you need to drop your status and salary, you most probably will find a way to eat, which is not the case in many other countries around the world, including within developed continents/ countries such as Europe or America.

Spain is indeed facing a huge crisis right now. This is why young people should … actually MUST learn foreign language like Chinese or English at the minimum. You speak a few languages and write them perfectly, also you have already given an extra-extra chance to yourself. Smart!

Love always my dear.

IF I COULD MAKE A WISH…. IT WOULD BE THAT EVERY YOUNG PERSON GETS A JOB AFTER SCHOOL

So sad, Ines. What’s the world coming to now? I have read similar articles like this one and had concerns. I think, secretly, I have been making the same wish you do…that every young person gets a job and a future after school.

This is my generation, and we’re falling apart instead of celebrating life and prospering to our fullest.

I know RJ, and this is why young people have to become entrepreneurs like myself because then you not only generate a job for yourself but you can create opportunities alongside for others. One thing I am proud of myself, is that I have provided salaries and security in my life throughout my career to countless young people by creating job opportunities.

I am happy to have helped several of my employees to buy a home for themselves or for their family. This is priceless for my self-respect.

Wishing you the best. What’s matters is to keep dreaming, having goals and to never defeat.

Much love, ines

Answering my comments- about Motivation, ambition and goals

You know what Ines, even though I am not Anne, the words are brutally painful but am very appreciated that because I have to say no one would say that apart from you. Everyone knows we’ve got to be more positive, motivated and self-driven but when it comes to ourselves, weakness takes over and get used to be beaten down. I will print this post out later and read it every morning so that your words become part of my life. Thank you Ines, you’re such an amazing role model. Love you always and am looking forward to hearing from you soon! Have a lovely day, Mary xxx

merci Mary for your kind words.

Actually, the day I woke up and did good for myself, is when someone gave me a big kick in the butt. It was a woman and I thank her each day for her honesty.
My problem always was to be late everywhere and not realizing that this is the rudest thing to do…. other people time is to be respected more than yours. I always blamed my no-sense of direction and busy schedule for being late, but she made me realize that in life there are no excuses….

Love always, ines

Hi Ines, what I love about your blog is that you covers not only beauty tips but also political stuff as well. This is what I believe a true beauty, I don’t like to be one of pretty faces with with no brain. When I heard the news on riots in England, I thought it could happen in Japan any time soon as we’re facing the same problems as well… scary but just to know what’s going on in the world is the first step and get my head down and work hard.

Mary,
How I wish I could make a dramatic change into this world. But I need an army and I am alone…
