In a secret intimate, invite only fashion show at his flagship store on Madison Ave. in NYC, Tom Ford hosted super models and one particularly famous songstress. Beyonce Knowles was a runway model for the Tom Ford Spring 2011 presentation, and shared the catwalk, with seasond models like Chanel Iman.

WWD is claiming that Ford, who once set atop the Gucci empire as Creative Director, has “dissed the cult of immediacy” referring to the lack of bloggers he invited to his show. But some bloggers insist that they were in fact invited and held their reviews per Tom Fords request.

“Tom Ford gorgeousness: silk fringe gown, crisp tuxedos in blk and white, leopard pantsuits, corsets under peekaboo gowns and lace kneeboots” Tweeted Elle creative director and The City star Joe Zee. And while it may be awhile before we get to see the glamorous designs Tom has in store for spring, we’re happy to wait just a little bit longer. –Gillian Koenig

Solange, Beyonce’s sister, pictured above, arrives at the show. She tweeted right after the show… : “Just died and went to fashion heaven!!! Tom Ford presentation. Sat in the mist of fashion royalty. Saw Grace sketching, Anna smiling, Died”.
