Shopping on Orchard today

Most women have the identical hobby: SHOPPING

Why do you think women like to shop?

In most cases, women are better shoppers than men and that’s a fact. One aspect to contribute to this fact is that when people are interested in something, they do it in a better way. We all know that women absolutely adore shopping. Below mentioned are some theories on why women like to shop so much.

Marketers are eager to know what are the best store arrays for men and women to meet their shopping instincts and desires. One suggestion was made that women love shopping because it resembles a lot to their ancient food gathering instincts. Women used to look for places where fruits and vegetables grew. They had to identify distinct colors and shapes to find ripe and edible fruits and vegetables. They had to feel, touch and taste the food that they gathered.

That is why scientists believe ladies need a different type of shopping experience than men. They love those stores or marketplaces where things they shop for, can be touched, felt, tried on, etc.

Men have a different approach to shopping. They know what they want and their goal is to go and get that. Generally, most men do not like the atmosphere of shopping malls or stores. They do not like to spend their leisure time there and do not view shopping as a form of recreation.

Food gathering was done by women in groups, which provided them with enough interaction and social contacts. Hence, shopping for women does not just mean buying the stuff they need. It is a form of social interaction where they can interact with others and exercise their ancient instincts.

According to one research, the liking for shopping and shopping preferences were distinctly divided by the gender criterion. Men showed much lower interest in shopping than women. Men viewed shopping as a necessity, while women viewed it as fun and a recreational activity. Women also seem to take pride in their shopping adventures and enjoy showing their haul after they are done shopping. (yes we do!!)

I was shopping with Tomoe Slawson this afternoon, here in the dressing room, trying on a cool top that I chose for her. Such a beautiful face :)

She bought: 2 tops, 1 leggin, 2 pairs of shoes (flats and heels)

I bought: 1 dress (S$78) and 1 swimsuit (Missoni for S$10 !!!)

I personally stay away from all dairy as even the organic dairy products have mucus and bacteria

and causes fermentation in our body and makes us ill.

We use unsweetened organic rice Milk at home. Look for a brand that is carogeenan free.

We use at home:
Aussie Dream from Pure Harvest – organic rice milk
or Natura organic fortified soy beverage

I also like Silk.

If your stomach is always bloated after you eat,

even though you wake up and it is flat,

then it means that you got parasites in your digestive system.

Take good probiotics, best are the ones that you must keep in the fridge).

And try to consume these foods everyday.

Ask your doctor to run a IgG food intolerances test (blood test)

to check your food intolerance (food delayed allergies).

If you eat mostly asian food, then test for the asian food panel.

so that all the food you eat are tested.

Try to eat less meat mostly read meat.

I eat only organic lamb or organic farm chicken (free of hormones and antibiotics)

Did you know that these veggies actually contains lots of proteins?

NEXT STOP PHUKET, THAILAND

This is what we will be doing with Kenny, my loving-husband for 7 days.

Okay,,, that was a lie!

In fact, we will be on a farm, juicing for 7 days.

(NO solid FOOD at all or 7 long days).

Each day:

Pilates, Yoga, deep tissues massages twice a day, coffee enemas, herbs and supplements, sauna non-stop to detox.

Result:
feeling truly purified, with a glowing skin, 5 kilos lighter, whiter eyes,

shiny hair, memory improved, flat stomach, tighter skin, health at its maximum!

I am a little crazy, I know, wish me luck! :)

WAIT!!!!!! :(((( GIVE HIM TIME TO CROSS THE STREET

In my car. It is 7:15 am in Singapore. Going to my polo practice and this idiot seated in his sport-car behind me, is honking his horn like a maniac. Does he expect that the man with the bicycle, suddenly takes off and flies like in the ET bike scene?! There is no Hollywood special effect here, just a guy trying to make a living moving boxes around so that he can eat today…..

Grrrrrr…. Annoying!
Actually, I made him wait extra seconds afterwards to “punish him”. I think he got it, because he kept quiet then.

Don’t you hate it when old people are walking on the crosswalk and cars are already making a move on them???!… I want to scream: WAIT!!! Show some compassion and respect, you gonna be old one day. Right now, you are stressing and scaring this poor Grandpa…. It could be YOUR Grandpa.

Respect, stop acting so selfishly.

SORRY FOR WHINING :)

Cara Delevingne has proved just why she’s the model of the moment with a very sexy new photo shoot.

Instead of doing a strip tease, Cara does a ZIP tease as she slowly zips off the layers of her Burberry mackintosh to reveal sheer stockings and turquoise undies. She finally peels off her bra to briefly flash her small boobs.

SEE THE VIDEO HERE:

Cara also features in a selection of photos for i-D magazine’s Q+A Issue (on sale tomorrow) that make us conjure up words like arty, futuristic, quirky and cool.

The Fanny Pack picture shows a sign inviting us to touch her clutch. (don’t blame me, as I was not involved in the shoot)
