GETTING FIT AT THE RITZ CARLTON!

This morning early I met with 4 of the finalists at the 46th floor of the Ritz Carlton to exercise in the incredibly stylish gym located on the top of the world! Ayako Shimada, editor of MAQUIA magazine is following my training with the finalists for 4 days and today she came to exercise with us and to follow my recommendations, while a photographer was taking pictures while she worked out with us.
(今日の早朝に4人のファイナリストを連れて、リッツカールトン46階のジムに連れて行ったの。とてもスタイリッシュなジムなのよ!ある企画で、MAQUIAエディターのShimada Ayakoさんが4日間ファイナリストと一緒に私のトレーニングを受けているの。今日は私の指導の元、エクササイズを行ったのよ。その間撮影も行ったの。)

The entrance of the SPA with the swimming pool and the gym on the right side. The walls are covered with blond wood, spectacular paintings, which makes the atmosphere feel very relaxing and luxurious.
(SPA、プールとジムのエントランスは、右側よ。壁は一面ブロンド色で、美しいペイントがなされていて、リラックス感とラグジュアリー感あふれる空間になっているのよ)
When we arrived some members were in the gym also we waited for them to leave so that we could get in and start filming for MUJTV.com. We decided to warm up in the hallway so that we could start exercising at a high speed right away on the machines.In fact we found out that the people in the gym were the band playing with Sting. They all stay in the hotel and I will go see Sting’s concert on Sunday evening with some friends, Ben and my husband.
(私たちが到着した時、何人かの方がトレーニングをされていたので終わるまでまっていたのよ。MUJTVのシューティングのためにね。トレーニングがすぐ始められるように、廊下でウォームアップをしたの。実はね、ジムで最初にトレーニングしていたのは、Stingのバンドの方だったのよ! 彼らはコンサートの為、ホテルに宿泊していて、日曜に夫と、ベンと友人達と彼らのコンサートを見に行くのよ。)
I am a Power plate lover and I explained to the girls how to exercise on it. Asuka had already used it also she started first.
(私この、パワープレートが大好きなの。女の子達に使い方を教えたわ。アスカはすでに使ったことがあって一番手でさせてみたの)
Starting Arika on the stepper-machine, she needs to build up muscle in her legs and mostly in her “bum”. Also I told her to exercise slowly and with a heavy step.
(アリカはステッパーマシーンをさせてみたの。彼女は股裏と、特にお尻を鍛えないといけないからね。重めのステップでゆっくり動くよう指導したわ)
Chiharu has a great body, it was a big woaw for me, her stomach abs are perfect!She needs to exercise her legs to make them bigger, also she worked on the squat machine most of the time, with higher weight. Chiharu worked on the Power Plate very shortly as she doesn’t need to loose weight at all..
(チハルは既に鍛え上げられた体をしていたわ。ビックリするくらいよ!彼女のお腹は完璧!ただ、足を鍛えてもう少し太くすれば完璧ね。彼女は重めの重りでのスクワットを中心にするよう指導したわ。体重を落とさないよう、パワープレートは短時間でね)
Misa spent time on the running machine and building up her abs and shoulder muscles most of the time. She is very fit as well, but her frame is a little bit too small.
(ミサは腹筋と肩を鍛える為に主にランニングね。彼女も鍛えられた体しているけど、ちょっと骨格が小さいわね。)
I do not run but dance at high speed on the treadmill, I listen to hip hop or R&B music to get me high and I can keep moving between dance and kick boxing moves for about 40 minutes at a time.
(私は走らないけど、ハイスピードでトレッドミルをするの。ヒップホップや、R&Bを聴きながらしたら、40分間はダンスとキックボクシングの動きを続けられるわ。)
Asuka is working on her legs, because she has a hard time to walk nicely. Her legs are not muscular enough and she looses her balance very easily when she catwalks.
(アスカは足のトレーニングをしています。彼女はウォーキングがまだ苦手なの。足に筋肉が十分ないから、キャットウォークする時にバランスを崩しやすいのよ)
Never forget to drink in between exercise routines…(水分補給も忘れちゃだめよ)
Chiharu like many Japanese girls in general needs to build up a nice bum like Jennifer Lopez! She got surprised when I tapped her to remind her to focus on this.
(チハルや、日本の女の子達の殆どは、ジェニファー・ロペスのようにお尻を鍛えるべきよ!お尻に集中できるように、タップしたらチハルはビックリしていたわ。)
