Just when you thought it couldn’t get anymore glamourous on Catwalk Queen after all the Oscars coverage, Karl Lagerfeld will stage the next Fendi fashion show on the Great Wall of China , with an entire collection designed by the maestro just for this big event.    They even have buid a huge Fendi Place to host VIP and celebrity guests from all over the world, close to the Great Wall.

Monica Bellucci, Riyo Mori and Sharon Stones are the ones announced in the press for now.

CEO Michael Burke says that the Wall wouldn’t just be a backdrop, the models would be using it as a catwalk, (80 meters actually!).

The postponement of the original May 24 date, as it turns out, may have been for the better. “A massive sandstorm hit Beijing on the day we had planned for the show,” Burke recalled. Actually it turned out great for us as well because in May we would have been in Mexico for the Miss Universe Pageant.

Mystifiyingly, Lagerfeld said: “I have a lot of people working for me, like Mao.”
