金曜日、ケイト・ボスワースと彼女のボーイフレンドジェイムス・ロッソウは、 理世と中国の万里の頂上にいました。なぜって、あなたは聴くかもしれません？もちろん、ファッションのためです！

Kate Bosworth and her model boyfriend, James Rousseau, were with Riyo on the Great Wall of China on Friday. Why, you ask? For fashion, of course!

The lovebirds joigned designer Karl Lagerfeld for his latest extravaganza—a Fendi fashion world on the Great Wall. In late May, Lagerfeld’s Chanel show in Los Angeles included models arriving to the runway in a private jet.

The press all over the world wrote:

500人のVIPゲストの中には、タンディ・ニュートン、ベイシング・エイプのオーナー・NIGO、元サッカー選手・中田英寿、ハリウッド女優のケイト・ボスワース、 「SAYURI」のチャン・ツィイー、そして、ミス・ユニバースの森理世。ラガーフェルドは、事実上、北京のグランドハイアットホテルを引き継いでいる。一語一語が違う言語であっても、人々がショーについて話しているのが聞こえてくるのです。 そして、皆さんがフェンディのバッグを持っていました！

Among the VIP 500 guests were Thandie Newton, Nigo owner of Bathing Ape, Footballer Hide Nakata, Hollywood actress Kate Bosworth, Memoirs of a Geisha star Ziyi Zhang and Miss Universe Riyo Mori of Japan. Lagerfelders have practically taken over the Grand Hyatt in Beijing. You can hear people talking about the show in literally any language, and everyone is carrying a Fendi bag! ショーの最中、理世とNigoさんの間に座りました。

During the show, I was seated between Riyo and Nigo san. 

 

この写真は、私達がショーの後のディナーに到着した時に撮りました。 一緒に移っているのは、カリスマ性があり、陽気な性格の、 マリー・クレール・ジャパン雑誌の編集長。

This picture, together with the charismatic and jovial Editor-in-Chief of Marie-Claire Japan magazine, was taken when we arrived at the dinner after the show.

フェンディは、「ザ・ビレッジ」と呼ばれる、北京市内にある、完璧なビルを建設し、 中国人のダンサーがパフォーマンスをしたり、アクロバットが天井から降りてくる間、 私達は、裏庭で飲んでいました。

Fendi has built an entire building in Beijing city called The Village, where we had a drink outsise in the courtyard, while acrobats were coming down from the ceiling, also some Chinese dances were perform with a twist of Italy.

そのとき、半分が外につながり、残り半分が内側にあるテラスに、 ディナーが運ばれてきました。すごく寒かったですが、 おいしいワインを飲んだ後すぐに、暖かい雰囲気に包まれ、 テーブルからテーブルへ行き交い、人々はおしゃべりを始めました。 ファッション業界は、計り知れないくらい広大です。 しかし、数年間でお互いを知りえてしまう、小さな世界なのです。 実際、私は、香港に住んでいた頃の友達に、たくさん会うことができました。

Then we were served dinner in a patio half inside and outside. It was really cold but the good wine soon after had warmed up the atmosphere and people stared cahtiing from table to table. the fashion industry is immense but a small world at the end as many know each other for years. I actually met many of my friends from Hong Kong from when i used to live there.  

ほとんどのファッション誌の編集長が招かれていました。 コンデナスト・ジャパンの社長と斉藤さんと一緒に席に着きました。 彼は、皆を知っていて、いつも楽しい話を私達に聞かせてくれます。 ディナーのときは、彼の隣に座る事が多く、 いつも彼の友達の話を楽しんでいます。 彼は誠実で、彼の話をくどくどする必要はないんですが、 「あなたの見たことは、あなたが得た事です」というのが、私は好きです。 私は、WWDのチーフ編集長の山室さんに会えたことがとても幸運でした。 彼の親しみのある顔は、いつも、暖かい笑顔で溢れており、 彼の隣にいることがとても心地よく感じさせてくれます。 彼は、つらいファッション業界において、真実の宝物の様な大きな心を持っています。

Most of the fashion magazine Chief Editors were invited. We were seated with Saito san, head of Conde Nast in Japan. Ihe knows evryone and has always unique stories to tell us. I am quite often seated next to him at dinners, and always enjo his company. He is a true person, nothing is rehearsed about himself, what you see is what you get. i like that. I was VERY happy to see Yamamuro san, Editor in-Chief of WWD, always a warm smile cross his friendly face and it feels nice to be next to him, he has a big heart, which is a true tresure mostly in the cruel world of fashion!

I must say, the show was spectacular, a once in a lifetime fashion extravaganza.  Thank you to Fendi for includind us.
