Allergies & Intolerance

a message from Marika Watanabe this morning

Marika W.

Good morning Ines,

Thank you so much for all!! You changed my life! Now I can live without fever, even today I already feel much better!! I had detailed allergy tests done lately as you recommended on your blog and found out the reason of me having fever over a year now.

As you say, we can change from what we eat! I cannot eat salad and also most of the vegetables, because it causes me allergy, …..so no AOJIRU for me… and no rice either!!! How come I was born in Japan?! I can’t either bath in HINOKI bath?

I changed my diet and I am taking fibers, multi vitamins and fish oil supplements!

Good news is that yes I had the testing done in Japan, I went to many hospitals but at the end I had it done a clinic near by, by an allergy specialist. In Japan, it’s actually covered by the national health insurance and can test up to once a month if the patient is suffering severely. My result came up as JUUDO, which means severe and we could take further test covered by the insurance. I believe I lot of people who read your blog may be thinking that it may cost a lot. In my case , I didn’t expect it to be that little expensive. The doctor told me not to get close to anything that can cause me allergy and that i will be fine.

However at least I found the cause of my fever and I can live normally now! Thank you so much!! You see, you are making a huge difference in me as well as others! We treasure you!! xo

Also, for you who have symptoms such as: [bloated tummy, acne, skin rashes, migraines, depression, low energy, fever, constipation and more...]. You should definitely read this. I summarized for you all a little information easy to understand and easy to follow up with.

Go test yourself, trust me it could change your life!

FOOD INTOLERANCE
What is it?
It is a blood test done by your doctor to check your body reaction to many different foods.

Why you should take the test?
Many nutritionists believe that certain foods can set off something called an IgG reaction, which is implicated in irritable bowel syndrome (tummy pain), arthritis, fatigue and eczema. Unlike a food allergy, which is a fast response by the body’s immune system to a perceived invader, a food intolerance develops more slowly and is caused by the body lacking the digestive enzymes to break down particular foods.

What to ask for ?
Unlike food allergy tests, intolerance tests are not available in regular doctor checks at the hospital, but you have to ask for it specifically. Also ask your doctor to run a IgG test, he can do it, I have done it in Japan.

What the results mean?

You found out which foods to avoid from your diet and begin taking digestive enzymes (available from health food stores or on internet). These tests are a great start, I found out I am intolerant to sea-food, white egg, almonds, vanilla and yeast. I ran the tests for my 3 sons and they are all intolerant to a different kind of food. (Luca is intolerant to milk & white egg; Noa to salmon & sesame; Ben to tuna and most sea food, my husband to most veggies and potato!)

What to ask for?
To get the test in Japan:

Contact Detox Co., Ltd http://www.detox,jp e-mail to info@detox.jp for US Biotek Test from U.S.
Pristine Co., Ltd. http://www.pristine.co.jp e-mail to info@pristine.co.jp for Genova Diagnostics Laboratory test from U.S.
