Today it is hot in the south! La chaleur est a couper au couteau dans le sud.
I had two glasses of alcohol with friends after the festivities in my village today, and I went back home horse-riding… good that the police in France never test women horse-riders! But I definitely had a nap in the afternoon.
J’ai bu 2 pastis a midi après l’abrivade et suis rentree a cheval a la maison, heureusement que les gendarmes ne contrôlent pas les cavalières.:))) Mais j’ai fait la sieste c’est sur!
La Journée a l’Ancienne de Lunel

Today was my favorite event during my summer in the south of France, en petite Camargue.
During the “Journee a l’Ancienne” (a day,as in the past), hundred people of all age range, dress like in the old times and meet in the bulls land which is 10 kilometers outside the town.
Everyone accesses this remote land by bicycle, horse-riding or by carriage like in the old times.
Breakfast is served and music is played so that people can eat and dance early in the morning to start the day.
The around 11 am, everybody leaves together and heads back to the city to enter the arenas before the toros (fighting bulls) arrive (called Abrivado).
You can see me with my pink shirt among the cavaliers.

今日は本当にありがとうございました！
イネスさんのチャリティイベント1周年の記念すべき日に、こうやって参加することができて嬉しいです。私の中で何かが変わった日でもあります。もちろん良い方向に。
お話をいただいた時は、何だか自分が否定されるような気がして正直怖かったです。でもそんな心配も、当日イネスさんのご自宅にエレベーターが着いた瞬間、イネスさんの「Hello！」の声と笑顔で吹き飛びました。
私のファッション、所作、ヘアメイクで改善した方がよい点と、日本人の特徴を結びつけながら説明してくださり、いろんな国の方々がまわりにいるという今の環境で、とても納得のいくものでした。選んでいただいた服に着替え、ヘアメイクをしていただいた私の姿は、今まで雑誌などで見ていた自分にはない、憧れでもあるモードで大人な雰囲気の自分でした。カジュアルなのにどこか洗練された雰囲気で、まさになりたかった自分！イネスさんがここまで私の個性と
どんな服を着ているか、というより、どうやって自分を表すか、個性を引き出すかが大事
るのは内面の美しさなのだな、と。毎日楽しみながら前向きに生活していたら、自然になりたい自分、着たい服、身につけたいアクセサリーを選ぶようになり、それが自分らしさとなって、魅力的な人間になるのだなぁ、と思いました。私も前向きに生き、魅力的な人間になれるよう、頑張りたいと思います。そして毎月イネスさんのことを思い出して、アクセサリーを一つずつ増やしていきたいです。
イネスさん、今日のこの日は忘れられない経験となりました。本当にありがとうございました！それから寛子さん、Valerieさん、通訳のMikiさん、そしてこのような素晴らしい経験のチャンスを与えてくれた桂子さんも本当にありがとうございました！

Thank you so much for today, I was happy to join the 1st year anniversary event!
Today was the day I felt something changed about myself. Of course in a good way.
To tell you the truth, I was nervous when I was asked to join this event since I thought maybe I would be judged by you… However my concern blew off when I heard your warm “Hello” with your big smile just when the door of the elevator opened directly in your home.
Your advice (which I’d be better to improve) was so great and
it made sense too.
After I changed clothes and put on makeup, hair done, I found myself “mode and mature.”
I always see it in a fashion magazine, but i never applied it to myself.
The look you gave me was casual, yet stylish. Yes,it was indeed the ideal style that I always wanted for me.
I am so moved that you pulled out my charm and character which I didn’t notice about myself before I met you.
I realized that It’s not about what I wear, but it’s how I express myself, how I pull my personality, that is important…
If I enjoy everyday life, maybe I can choose clothes, accessories which I actually want to wear, and that makes me charming. So I am now trying hard, and I think of you every month and would like to plus my accessory pieces step by step.
Thank you so much Ines san, the event was an unforgettable great experience for me.
