First Look At Penelope Cruz LOEWE Ad Campaign.
I gave Penelope her first bag-deal in 2006, with Samantha Thavasa. We had a drink at the Park Hyatt in Tokyo and she told me that her dream was to design a bag for a fashion company. I then introduced her to Kazu Terada, CEO of Samantha Thavasa Ltd.I They clicked right away. Penelope asked to include her sister Monica, an actress in Europe. We then shot several campaigns until 2 years ago. I liked working with Penelope and Monica for a few years. Monica does not speak any English also we always communicated in Spanish. Monica was the one mostly coming up with design idea. penelope is always promoting her sibblings. She is a generous sister to them.
The shoot was lensed by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who captured the sultry brunette at the Palacio Marqués de Villafranca in Madrid.
The television adverts of the campaign will officially be released on Thursday in Singapore, with the print adverts debuting in Vogue Japan later this month, followed by a February international release inside fashion magazines.
