New year eve lunch with my Japanese family in Tokyo
“Happiness is having a large, loving, caring, close-knit family in….. another city.” AHHH! it is not true, because I love my Japanese family, they are loving and funny!
New year’s eve day lunch with my Family at Gompachi, happy times. And the new generation cousins is growing so fast.
My Mother in Law Emiko Hine has 4 sibblings. Eevery cousns get together sometimes when time allows for lunch. Very special moments in life.
My favorite snacks “PEKOE”
When I visited Japan the other day for a shoot, my agent brought me some dried fruits by “PEKOE”.
They were unbelievably juicy…couldn’t believe they were dried fruits!
No sugar, no additives.
A perfect kind of snack!
As I mention in my books and seminars, too much sweets for women who want to become beautiful is a big no-no!! If you want to have something sweet, choose fruits instead of candy!
There seems to be a variety of fruits by “PEKOE”, such as roselle, dates, mango and lychee. Amongst these, a pleasant surprise was the lychee; they use high quality Taiwanese fruits to make the product and definitely one that would be appreciated as a gift.
Not only do they taste good, it’s great fun cracking into them!!

ALLURE COVER GIRL this month is Penelope Cruz
ALLURE COVER GIRL this month is Penelope Cruz
I can stay hours talking to her we are passionate about the same things in life.
ABOUT PERFUME: : Did you know that Penelope wears a different fragrance for every character that she plays?
It makes sense because she really can be a totally different person each time…
ABOUT HAIR: The best hair trick she’s learned from a stylist is way more advanced than the usual teasing:
“My parents owned a hair salon, so I learned a few tricks there. I can cut people’s hair—if they let me.”
FOOD: A typical day’s diet isn’t too shabby:
“If it’s good, it’s five meals a day.” Trust me, I had lunch and diner with her and she can eat!
Her favorite workouts? “Dance. Yoga. Pilates.”
Her least favorite? “Running.” (me too)
I was watching this French program called 66 minutes in France……
I was watching this French program called 66 minutes in France and this image of one of my beauty transformations, came up on screen (I took a photo). This girl was a finalist of Miss Universe Japan in 2005. She placed in the top 10. I remember how conservative she looked and was when I first met her,and how she steadily transformed with the weeks passing by.
Japanese girls are amazing, they can really change, improve, surprise and ultimately wow us. They are true warriors capable of anything, if they have set their minds into it.
