My summer in France in photos….

At the market in my village, together with my friends, they all are from South America (Venezuela & Panama)

from left: Patricia, Claudia, Irma and Maria Stella who came to spend some days in my home. We found nice Panama hats sold by someone from Ecuador…. and we all bought one for the summer.

Having a Tequila beer in Aigues Mortes with my friends Makani Maeva from Honolulu and Ana Minns Cuban, from Singapore, and my son Luca drinking water of course.

This year was a real camp for kids!! We had the record of 16 children sleeping in the house and having a blast together for a week.

Maeva 13, Colette 15, Luca 11, Noa 12, Stella 10, LouNae 7, Jade 11, Charlotte 13, Miranda 11, Lana 13, Hana 11, Angela 12, Felix 20, Basile 18 and Alex 10 and Flavia 16. All at the same time!

La journee a l’ancienne, my family has carriages with horses and each year we go have breakfast as a tradition in the land where the toros live all year around. I went there horse riding and I came back in the carriage. My Father drives an old jeep from the Golf war.

The best I brought back from Mexico, was a Mexican dress. I love this picture of the Mngot sisters on the beach.

Below, you can find the dresses on the “Les Gazelles” websire, but they are quite $$$$$ pricey, also it makes me wonder what portion of this price actually goes to the people who make them knowing that these people live in real poverty, I unfortunately doubt that they’re getting a fair payment for the elaborate work they do….. anyhow these dresses are magnificient.
