BEST FRIENDS
The first thing I thought when I opened my eyes this morning is: “how lucky am i to have a few best friends in my life”.
When I was young I was set aside at school, bullied because I was different and being very sad. I used to look at girls around me with a best friend, being so happy, and I would pray that one day someone would want to be my best friend.
Today I have a few best friends that I love and care for very much, also I am the luckiest and happiest person in the world.
Best Friends are very special people in your life. They are the first people you think about when you make plans. They are the first people you go to when you need someone to talk to. You will phone them up just to talk about nothing, or the most important things in your life. When you’re sad they will try their hardest to cheer you up. They give the best hugs in the world! They are the shoulder to cry on, because you know that they truly care about you. In most cases they would take a bullet for you, coz it would be too painful to watch you get hurt.
Thank you Roxanne for one more fun evening last night with you, listening to the Singapore Symphony Orchestra while drinking fine wines and eating gourmet food, at the Ritz Carlton.
To all, wishing you all a wonderful best friend and a happy weekend!!
Much love always, ines
FACE CONTOURING
Answering my comments:
Ines, pls help… I would like to learn about contouring. My face is flat and round, please teach me. Thank you always.
Ling (Malaysia)
Dear Ling, such a nice coincidence….. When working at IMG Models I represented LING, the first Asian supermodel, and she was from Malaysia. I worked with her in New York and in Japan a few times. Also, you remind me of her…..

To asnwer your question, you should try to find this product, it is called “Make Up For Ever Sculpting Kit”. It is a palette of two complementary powders, dark and light, that help contour, sculpt and correct the face structure.
If you do it well, your face can change totally. But try this in the evening as the light during the day can give up your trick…. unless for a photoshoot.
Contouring provides definition to the face by accentuating and/or minimizing features. By simply adding shadows, which create dimension, one can sculpt cheekbones, thin/lengthen/shorten the nose and/or make face look thinner.
You need:
Angled Brush
A dark matte powder or cream (2 shades darker than skintone)
A light matte powder or cream (1-2 shades lighter than skintone)
1. In order to find the contours of the face – make a fishy-face.
2. See diagram and apply where dark shade is placed. The diagram is for placement purposes only. Do not just draw a streak of color down the cheek. Blend…Blend…Blend…
3. See diagram and apply where highlighter is placed. Blend…Blend…Blend…
Contouring all of these areas is not necessary on everyone. Each face structure is different. Find the problem areas you would like to correct and go from there.
Voila, have fun!

IF BARBIE WAS A REAL WOMAN
IF BARBIE WAS A REAL WOMAN
My advise: Never compare yourself to others!
For more than 50 years, Mattel’s popular Barbie doll has inspired criticism of its unrealistic portrayal of an adult woman’s body. In spite of the critiques, the dolls have remained incredibly popular, and no one seemed willing to present a possible alternative.
Until now, that is. Pittsburgh-based artist and researcher Nickolay Lamm used a 3-D printer to create a version of Barbie intended to resemble actual, living women more closely. We think it’s safe to say that he comes much closer than the current version of Barbie does.
What do you think of this attempt?
Does it help promote healthier feelings about body image?
Well I survive working everyday with Barbies!! hehehe….
Actually, this was the first version of BARBIE ever!
