Dear Ines,

Thank you for your generous contribution to the Run for the Cure Foundation- I cannot thank you enough for your support and want you to know that we truly appreciate your continued and amazing efforts.  We are delighted to report that all 2007 initiatives were successful and none more so than the Pink Ball.

With your help, the Pink Ball raised over 25 million yen, a substantial increase from 2006, not to mention the Foundation’s other 2007 initiatives.  These funds will be dedicated to fulfilling the Foundation’s mission of eradicating breast cancer in Japan as a life-threatening disease by building greater awareness through education and promoting timely screening and treatment.  Due to the success of this year’s fundraising efforts, the Foundation will be able to purchase four additional mammography machines and launch another campaign to offer free screenings.

Please accept our heartfelt thanks for all you do in support of breast cancer awareness in Japan.  We salute you for making a difference and we look forward to seeing you on the 12th!

I will cherish the 1% remaining as it goes straight to my heart. I am surely proud to be part of such a good Foundation.

And, to all the women reading my blog right now and struggling with breast cancer, think positive because recovery is possible. I overcame breast cancer and my mom survived it as well. Love to all of you. And remember, you are not alone, people everywhere will continue fighting for the cause, for YOU.
