Dear friends,

I wrote yesterday to Pierre Chetcuti the French organizer of the foundation Action Cambodge Handicap that I decided to help, telling him that we have so many women attending the sessions now between Tokyo and Singapore and he replied:

YES, it is incredible!!

You seem to be people so far away from where we are living.
All of you are so beautiful, so clean, so light. It seems we are living in two different planets.
And, by a mystery, by the mystery of love, our two worlds join together.
And it is the poorest people who unify us.
If this people had not be there I think that we would never meet together.

You, and your friends, must know how it is important for the people here, in Cambodia, to know that they are connected with you.
I do not give them your money.
I say to them that people in rich countries are working for them and they have to work hard by themselves to find the way to be independent.
I say to them that you have payed the furniture for the jam factory, and that you, and other in France, pay for their homes, etc…
But they have to work to earn they own life and food and clothes.

And it is in this sharing, in this solidarity, that we are creating a human world.

For me, you must know that it is a lesson.
When I left France, 8 months ago, I was thinking that it will be an experience.
I was thinking that after 1 or 2 years, I would come back and find a new job and restart as before.
I think that by now, my engagement here is taking me in a long term engagement.
Sometimes I do not believe in what I am living, but I must recognize and says to others that I am happy.

But, by your smiles, by your energy, by the authenticity of your engagement, I have no other choice to see and admit, that my life is changing and that I can trust in this challange.
