Beautiful Miss Japan – Hiroko Mima came with me, I love traveling with her because we always have a good time, we laugh, go out in the coolest clubs and we shop local fashion together.

Ebihara Yuri made an appearance at the fashion show for SAMANTHA THAVASA. Interestingly it was her very first runway outside of Japan, and she said on stage: “I’m very happy to participate in my first show overseas.

She looked spectacular when she walked for Samantha Thavasa in a black mini dress and a blue Samantha Thavasa bag. Her hair was voluminous and she sported a bright red lipstick. She walked as any supermodel would do in New York or Paris. I was totally impressed with her. I went to say hello in her dressing room during the show and told her so. She is always very sweet.

The ‘Shanghai Runway’ is a fashion show originating from the ‘Kobe Collection‘, which was launched in Kobe back in 2002. The production committee of ‘Kobe Collection’ has been holding it every year with the theme “clothes I want to wear tomorrow“. Now in its 6th year of holding the event in China, the name was changed to ‘Shanghai Runway’.

Model Hasegawa Jun in RED PEPPER was the first to walk the runway. She commented, ”I love Shanghai because it’s so energetic. Even beyond that, I’m happy to be able to participate in this show.” She is simply spectacular. Her TV campaign for Shiseido runs in China non-stop, also she is quite famous in China.

Aside Ebihara and Hasegawa, the show featured appearances from model Fujii Rina, actress Kato Natsuki, and other popular Chinese models.

Sly was not so special… I was a big disapointed, I expected much more as I am a SLY lover.

The collection by RED PEPPER was my favorite part of the show. I love the similar style as per DSQUARED…. and the models looked stunning in it. I hated when they were wearing kawaii looks, the worst was DREAM PRINCESS, it made the girls look almost ugly!!! How can they do that??!! Why? I get so angry!

Asian girls need to be stylish or they look cheap… oops! Sorry for that, but it is true and anymore with common sense would agree with me…:)

BACKSTAGE

Now, the highlight of my weekend in Shanghai was meeting top model RIKACO!

Such a woman! She is a smart, elegant, humble, gentle, hard worker and super-intelligent. She has a charisma and an aura as big as the Tokyo Tower!

See her blog, click on the picture below.

We all stayed at the Okura Hotel in Shanghai, it is a bit old fashion but comfortable.

We went for a drink with Hiroko, Rikaco and her 2 cool managers, at the famous club called LE BAR ROUGE on Bond Street at #18.

Check it here, click on the picture, you will love the pictures and you will adore the MUSIC!
